Week 4: Reading Through the Entire Bible as a Family

We are still reading through the entire Bible together. I am glad to say that we have read every single night together and it is beyond a blessing. It has become a part of our nightly routine and we look forward to our time together. Even if we are a little short a time, we make sure to at least read one chapter together. Most nights, though, we read through several chapters.
We are nearing the end of Exodus. What stood out to us most this week was all of the detail in the instruction for the tabernacle. We have had some pretty amazing discussions. To God be the glory.
If you are not currently reading the Bible together as a family, I would strongly urge you to start. As soon as possible. The world we live in is changing, and evil is prevalent. Equipping our families with the Word is our first line of defense. Imagine the transformation if all families were in the Word together as much as we spend on so many other non-essential activities?
Be transformed. Know Him. Then be equipped to make Him known in this dark and hurting world.
