Reading Through the Bible As a Family
We have decided as a family to read through the entire Bible together. In as little as 15 minutes a day, this can be completed in one year. I am not worried about the time it takes though and never want to limit our time with the Lord to any amount of minutes per day. We are trusting Him to lead us in His perfect timing and however long, or little, it takes!
I can expect an adventurous year ahead because I have seen in the past that when God lays something on my heart, it is for a purpose! I am excited to see all that we will learn together and how God will transform us.
It is only fitting that our verse for this homeschool year is Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect
Will your family join us?
Will you make a commitment to read through the Bible together? Imagine the transformation if all families did this! It will be revival and it will be transforming. PLEASE share this and encourage all you can to do the same!
JOIN US! Want to know a secret? Want to know why I am posting about it, and not keeping it myself? For one reason, I want to encourage others to do the same. The other reason– accountability. If I post it here, I know I will need to follow through and not get slack on this. Besides, my children are in on it. We must teach them our commitment to God’s Word!
I tremble with excitement at what God will do through His people if all families will commit to doing this!
