Fun Activity for Apologia’s Exploring Creation With Chemistry and Physics

We are loving Apologia’s Exploring Creation With Chemistry and Physics. My fifth grader and third grader are both using it together. This morning after our lesson was complete, they had a scavenger hunt for finding things around the house made up of different elements.

I printed out these cards from Ellen McHenry’s Basement Workshop. Instead of using them for the game, we simply used them to read about different elements and then find them in our house.

What a great way to understand the elements that God created and how they make up our world. All of our learning points back to our Creator, and that is truly a blessing!
