What recent attendees are saying:
“I attended your Saturday workshop at the HEAV convention. You challenged us to find a Bible verse that we could use to guide our homeschool….a “motto”, so to speak.
I am new to homeschooling so the challenge was intriguing to me. I wanted to share that I have found our family’s verse!
3 John 1:4: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
An excellent starting point for our homeschool journey! Thanks for the challenge!”

“By far, your blog and FB page have been the most valuable resource I walked away with from the convention. I downloaded your books that very same weekend and read through them immediately. I plan to read again later this summer while we are on vacation. As a “newbie”, I can tell you that I have to fight off the feelings of being overwhelmed. Yours is a site that reminds me of what truly matters. God bless and keep up the good work – you are making a difference!” ~A HEAV attendee, June 2014
“Thank you for your transparency and sharing some of your family struggles. It’s amazing to see how God turns everything for good for those who love Him. More importantly, thank you for sharing you passion for Christ!!!” ~ a recent conference attendee
I am honored by the opportunities to share my story and how God has worked in my homeschool. It is my passion and my heart to encourage other families.
I have a passion for simplifying and encouraging others to put God first in all they do.
Karen has spoken at many different events including: Teach Them Diligently 2015 (Atlanta, Nashville, and Sandusky, OH) The Virginia State Homeschool Convention (HEAV), the NJ State Homeschool Convention (ENOCH), local Mom’s groups, homeschooling groups, and online presentations and webinars.
Karen speaks in a real and authentic way and believes as homeschooling families we must encourage one another this way! By sharing her own stories of how God has worked in her homeschool, she desires to walk alongside other homeschooling families to encourage them on their journey! Her goal is to always give God the glory and point to Christ in each session.
No group is too big or too small! I love connecting with homeschooling families through speaking!

Karen has been married for 15 years to the love of her life and has 4 children. God called Karen to homeschool when her oldest was about to enter kindergarten. After thinking “I could NEVER do THAT,” God had other plans…She obeyed the call and is now, not only loving homeschooling, she is passionate about educating others about homeschooling and encouraging families along the way.
