I am thrilled to share with you my latest eBook-

Bible Based Homeschooling:
Our Experiment with Using the Bible as Our Main Textbook.

This book shares our story of how we managed to homeschool using the Bible as the center of our studies. For one year, we studied the Bible in depth as a family, and learned so much history, science, geography, and more right from our lessons. It was an amazing experience. It wasn’t without its challenges though, and I will also share what challenges we faced.

God’s Word does not return void. It can ONLY accomplish His purpose. I don’t know about you, but I see His Word as the only 100% guaranteed book out there amongst all of the curricula offered to produce fruit. Can anything else give you that promise? It WILL always accomplish HIS purpose! You can’t go wrong with it as your foundation. AMEN!”

~ Karen DeBeus, Bible Based Homeschooling

  1. Hi Karen, I just bought your new ebook and cannot wait to read it! Thank you for blessing me more than you know! How can I advertise your ebook on my blog? I am new to blogging, but still want to support you. 😉

  2. Hi! I have been waiting for this book to come out on kindle like the other two…is it going to?

  3. Hello, I just read your book. Thank-you for your hard work and dedication to Biblical principles in life, school and family. I did have a few questions. I have 9 children. 6 in school, ranging from 2 in 9th grade, 1 middle school,3 elementary, 2 preschoolers and 1 toddler. We did an in-depth study of Genesis for school time and an in-depth study of Judges for family time. (Well, still doing, school year is not over) I never thought about using these studies to come up with spelling, writing, grammar, etc. We do completely different books for all those things and a desperate math curriculum. I love the idea of making the curriculum from the Bible for the “side” subjects too! “Side” meaning I have always told my kids the Bible/God/good character/Godly morals are first and foremost, what the state requires are second. Good education, yes, we want that, but it will follow, go along with lifelong Biblical learning. BUT, my state has strict laws about letters of intent, subjects to be covered every year, scope and sequence, intended curriculum, and notification forms. How do you suggest filling out those required forms to meet my state requirements, especially for so many grades and ages? What do you suggest as the next step or book/books of the Bible to study after Genesis? What are you and your family studying next? We have thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much from our Genesis study. I am glad we are doing it. I do feel that with using the Bible as our main, in the way you have presented, will benefit us even more personally and corporately as a family. I already feel short on time so even though I love the concept, I feel overwhelmed at the thought of my part of the prep work. It has been on my heart to cherish this time with my children and draw them closer as a family and most of all closer to God. I love that you have done this with your family and have shared with others. This book has given me the encouragement I need to pursue your concept for 2014-2015 school year. If you would help answer my questions or refer me to others that could, I would appreciate it so much. Again, thank you. Sarah Jordan
